Head of Learning

🧑🏼‍💻 The role
As the Head of Learning your role is to lead the planning and implementation of NXTLVL’s learning principles, establish a clear and purposeful learning platform, curriculum, content, structure and sessions. We are looking for someone to play an active role in the strategic development of NXTLVL as a concept and take full ownership for the quality of the material delivered. This role reports directly to the founders and works closely with Game Design, Facilitation and Marketing teams.

🎯 What you‘ll do

* Define and implement the pedagogy, curriculum framework, session structure, and content of all our learning experiences in alignment with NXTLVL's vision.
* Collaborate with our Head of Product and Design to translate the learning objectives into immersive, tangible, and effective learning experiences.
* Define and implement the evaluation framework to continuously measure the effectiveness of our learning experiences.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to set and work towards the achievement of objectives and key results (OKRs) related to learning and product development.
* Work alongside our product designers, learning and subject matter experts, software engineers, and creative experts, among others, as well as identify best practices and relevant research to inform the implementation of each of our learning experiences.
* Define and implement how AI can enhance and accelerate the work related to learning.
* Articulate the science behind NXTLVL’s methodology to users (children), customers (parents), partners, and the broader audience.

🌟 Who you are



* Strong passion for children's education, especially in the areas of soft skills and mental models.
* Master’s/PhD in Education or a related field.
* Over 7 years of experience of curriculum and learning design, educational program development as well as content creation.
* You've worked in high-performing, high-intensity, team-first environments (e.g., innovative game studios, high-growth startups, etc.).
* Ability to switch among various initiatives as needed and work both independently and in teams.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Proven leadership and mentoring skills.





🍒 Nice-to-have


* Experience in an early-stage or fast-growing edtech startup.
* Experience in soft skills development.
* Familiarity with immersive and game-based learning experiences.
